merik gmbh for organisational development & coaching is a committed company which I founded in 2007 after 15 years in the SME sector.
To live my passions: Strengthen people, inspire teams, enable organisations, work on thresholds and dive into new situations again and again. This is what enthuses me and results in enjoyment and beaming faces.

Why am I doing what I am doing today? There were two key events. One was when I handed in my notice for my last COO position without having any concrete plans for the future. I had three ideas about what I wanted to do in future. Without having to do a lot about it, the decision almost made itself. I got three exciting offers for leadership and organisational development, which would keep me occupied for the next 18 months. |
The second key event happened when I was 17 years old. I already had a passion back then for changing things, to develop - and “not possible” was not something I believed in. My father once said to me «When you really want something, then you will achieve it. You have such a good way about you”. I wasn´t really sure back then what he meant and didn´t ask. But it means a lot to me and gave me courage.
For your information: I often get asked “What does merik” stand for? “M” is for Meerholz and “erik” is for Erika, which was my mother´s first name. She was a creative, incredibly committed and loving wife, mother and working woman.
